ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE - Give More, Save More, Repay Debt

On Wednesday, February 13th, President Bush signed the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 which will provide most Americans with tax rebate funds to help stimulate the U.S. economy. The IRS states that they will begin sending out the rebates to those qualified in May. The rebates are $600 single, $1,200 married, plus $300 per qualifying child without limit on the number of children claimed. Example - A qualifying married couple with 2 depedent children will receive a rebate of $1,800. What are your plans for this "windfall?" This may be your opportunity to GIVE MORE, SAVE MORE and to expedite DEBT REPAYMENT. Whatever choice you make, you should take advantage of this opportunity to meet your financial goals. This is not the time to SPEND MORE.
