Early Childhood (birth - pre-K)

Love kids? Love God? Then, come join us as we teach preschoolers to DISCOVER God’s Love and God’s Word through worship, creative small group lessons and an interactive large group experience. There are weekday and weekend opportunities for everyone, so we hope to work alongside you soon for the glory of God!

Elementary (K-5th)

In Elementary kidstuf, kids experience creative bible lessons, learn how to worship through song and prayer and even begin building quality friendships with other kids and adult leaders.

Middle School

NorthsideMiddle is a place where students (6th – 8th grade) can come and learn what it means to have a life saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We accomplish this through live worship music, breakout groups and relevant messages.

High School

Northsides High School ministry is a community of students eager to meet God on a personal level and to learn what it means to live a life according to Him.

Guest Services

Click Here to Expand Content. Connection is vital to your spiritual growth and to the health of a church. In Acts 2 we read how the first church had everything in common and shared everything. They enjoyed the favor of all people. They were connected.

So how do you get connected? There are many ways, but one of the easiest first steps would be to plug into a Guest Services team. There are several of these teams serving in different areas on the weekend. By joining one of these teams you are not only taking that first step of connection, but you are providing a valued service to the weekend ministry here. What are you waiting on – Jump in!

WHAT AREAS ARE NEEDED?

ASG Team All Systems Go teams are the backbone of what goes on here for the weekend. This team works behind the scenes, making sure everything is in place for each service. They ensure all the other teams are in place and fill in the holes. They also see that all our guests are safe; providing first aid, safe evacuation when needed, and security as required. These teams serve both services, either on Saturday or Sunday. They arrive one hour prior to service beginning and usually are here an hour after the last service is over.

Door Greeters

This is probably the easiest way to get involved and likely the most rewarding. You are that most important first impression when you greet at the door. People need to feel welcome as they come here. You need to arrive 30 minutes prior to service

Communion/Offering

This is why we come – to honor our Lord through these emblems. Serving these emblems is an honor and a privilege. As part of this team you serve communion and help receive the offering. These teams meet fifteen minutes before service to get section assignments and take communion together as a team.

Parking

We all know it is no fun to wait in traffic, and we need help in the parking lot to make this wait time as short as possible. This team also helps to make our parking lot a safe place for all our guests. This is a great way to make a huge difference for our visitors. The Saturday Parking Team usually arrives about 10 minutes after the beginning of the first service of the day and sets up cones, then directs traffic in between services and after the last service. You would normally attend the second service on Saturday. Sunday can attend either service and can arrive anytime before 10:00 am. Again, they help with traffic in between services and after the last.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

Just a desire to serve others and get plugged into ministry, and membership if you would like to serve communion. Except for ASG teams, all guest service teams require very little time, and all can be done during the service you would normally attend.

HOW OFTEN DO I SERVE?

All of our guest service teams are set up on a three-month rotation. You serve one month and are off for two months. This allows you to get a break or to serve in other areas here.

Coffee House

During all four of our weekend services we have several coffee machines giving out free coffee and tea and in the foyer we have our very own N'Sider's Cafe. The cafe is a place where our congregation can come to sit back and relax with a cup of mixed coffee.

Kitchen

If you've ever been a volunteer a Northside, you've almost surely heard of the free breakfast we have on Sunday mornings. That's only a small taste of the delicacies that our kitchen makes, if your interested in helping out, sign up down at the bottom of the page.

Support Groups

Life gets tough, there is no reason that we have to try and brave it alone. Our Support Group ministry at Northside helps countless people every week come into contact with the real tangible love that Jesus Christ offers his children.

Singles

A single’s ministry should offer the promise of Psalms 147:3: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Northside Christian Church is striving to provide classes and events that help single adults to grow in Jesus Christ.

Sports

The sports ministry at Northside is a great way to meet people with similar interests such as softball, basketball and volleyball and to begin building solid relationships with other believers.

Women’s Ministries

The Women’s Ministry at Northside Christian Church exists to reach out to women of all ages, life stages and life situations to disciple them in their Christ-Walk through weekly Bible studies, small groups, prayer, special events and more.

Men’s Ministries

Click Here to Expand Content. The Men’s Ministry at Northside Christian Church aims to encourage men to learn the skills of being a husband, father and servant of God by "journeying" through the Bible, various classes and activities and serving as an apprentice under God our Father.

Bible Study

Our Bible Electives here at Northside offer a little something for everyone who seek to gain a deeper understanding of God’s word so that we can love, follow, worship and know God more fully.

Evangelism

The message we send out into the community through, preaching, teaching, outreach, and many other things is vital to reaching people that haven't heard of Jesus.

Missions

Reaching out to people in our community, our country and our world with the message of Jesus Christ following Christ's charge and the first century church's model in Acts 1:8.

Worship/Praise

Every weekend we have four identical services with a full set of worship music, if you can play an instrument or sing and would love to use that gift here at Northside, sign up below.

Drama

We often have Drama's during our weekend services, if you love theater and you have a knack for the arts come check us out.
